Night Time Routine with Avistar

My night time routine has gotten a recent upgrade with the addition of the Avistar Care whitening products. As I’ve mentioned before such as in this post, I have begun making the transition from harmful, toxic beauty and self-care products to clean, non-toxic, more natural beauty and self-care products. So far, I have successfully switched my toothpaste, deodorant, face wash, face and body lotions, and many make up products. So when Avistar reached out to me about trying their charcoal teeth whitening powder and natural activated charcoal mouthwash, I was excited and intrigued to try them!

When I received the whitening products, I was so relieved to learn that the whitening powder consists of only five natural ingredients and the mouthwash does not contain fluoride, alcohol, SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate) and is cruelty free and has a subtle mint flavor! Many of the whitening products I have tried before contain harsh chemicals that irritate my sensitive teeth. In the past, those products bothered me so much that I couldn’t use the products more than two days in a row and not without significant discomfort. Then, I would forget to re-apply those products because I needed to let my teeth recover and rarely saw results. ​

​I eased myself into my whitening routine by beginning with the charcoal powder every other day for two weeks. It is so easy to use, but warning—it is a bit messy.
​Simply open the powder carefully, wet your toothbrush, gently dip the toothbrush into the powder, and brush your teeth!

 ​​After about two minutes, rinse the powder from your mouth and brush regularly with toothpaste. Finally, swish for about one minute with the charcoal activated mouthwash. 

​Since using the Avistar charcoal teeth whitening powder, I was relieved to find that my teeth and gums did not feel more sensitive and I was not experiencing discomfort. My smile also looks whiter, brighter, and more polished! I'm excited to continue using these natural whitening products to see even more impactful results. Consistency is key in just about everything, including teeth whitening!
