I have felt inspired to share a few ways that I am challenging myself to be productive during this time of precaution. Whether you are on spring break like me, are working from home, or are simply weathering the storm in your area, I hope this list inspires and encourages you to take action, too. Are these novel ideas and concepts? No, of course not, but they are things that we often neglect in the busyness of our everyday lives. While we are forced to slow down, let's use this time wisely and for good.
Three things I am thankful for today: the timing of my spring break, hope in Jesus, time to rest and be still.
Here's what's on my to read list: You could try to order these on Amazon, Thriftbooks, or try a digital download from your local library. If books aren't your thing, try an audio book.
One of my all time favorites is Ina Garten - The Barefoot Contessa.
It is so important to enjoy the sunshine while you can and get your daily dose of Vitamin D. It works wonders for your overall health. Seriously. It's been scientifically proven.
Lastly, take this time to pray: pray for your loved ones, your community, your city, our nation, our world. It's really not hard and it doesn't have to be complicated. Talk to God by simply sharing what's on your heart and on your mind. I promise He's listening. I promise He's there. He might not answer all our questions right now, but He is faithful, and He is always good. Love, Kimberly
