With our demo well underway, I thought it would be so fun to share a few of the images and designs I have discovered during this process that are serving as major sources of inspiration for our renovation. The deigns are stunning and the designers behind them are nothing short of brilliant, in my humble opinion. As you scroll through these images, you'll notice a few common themes: southern cottage styles, traditional fixtures, coastal colors, and light and bright spaces with clean, natural elements. These are the styles that I love and am most drawn to, and are many of the terms I have used to describe my overall vision for our renovations. Take a look at all of the beautiful images and designs below: Photo via Love & Specs Photo via Love & Specs Photo via Love & Specs Can you believe that these are all homes in Maryal of Love & Spec's neighborhood?! Talk about a dream! Those courtyards..those gates..make my heart skip a beat. Photo and design via Andrew Howard Interior Design Those shutters, those windows, that door. Need I say more? This home designed by Andrew Howard oozes with coastal southern charm. Just like I like it. Photo and design via Lindye Galloway Interiors The layout of this space designed by Lindye Galloway is so similar to our future living room. THIS is how I envision our space so much more than its current state. Photo by Amy Bartlam - Design by Lindsey Brooke Design Photo and design by Mindy Gayer Design Co. Photo by Amy Bartlam - Design by Lindsey Brooke Design This kitchen by Lindsey Brooke Design has also been a major inspiration because it, too, has a very similar layout to our new kitchen, and I love the natural light flooding into this space contrasting with the beautiful blues. My heart. Photo and design by Mindy Gayer Design Co. Photo via The Color Concierge Photo and design by Mindy Gayer Design Co. This bathroom by Mindy Gayer is what solidified many of my design ideas four our new home and set my design wheels in motion. Cue Julie Andrews: "These are a few of my favorite things.." Last, but certainly not least, is this stunning laundry and mud room designed by husband and wife duo, Studio McGee. This space speaks to me on so many levels. Am I being a tad dramatic? Perhaps, but these spaces are so inspiring and I am so excited to really get my hands on our space and start renovating! Which of these designs is your favorite? Do you have a favorite interior designer? I'd love to know in the comments below! Little bitty love, Kimberly
